Taunton and Huntingdon officials to inspect again

THURSDAY'S meeting at Taunton is now subject to a 11am inspection.

The course was unraceable at 8am - the time of the initial inspection - due to frost, but officials are optimistic racing will go ahead if the forecasts are correct.
Clerk of the course Michael Trickey said: "If the weather forecast is right, we'll race."

THURSDAY'S meeting at Huntingdon is now subject to a 10am inspection.

Temperatures remained above freezing on Wednesday night, but the track is covered with a light layer of snow, which officials hope will be cleared by 10am.
