I have to admit to kicking myself for passing over Barron's 7/1 winner in the first at Haydock......with a non-runner in the 4.00 (fav won) that would have been two timmes the placepot payout again, PLACEPOT £46.70 to a £1 stake, grrr...yet another lesson learned though.
