Ramsdens in racing

Lynda Ramsden has retired from the training ranks, but she and husband Jack, long thought of as one of the smartest punters around, have far from severed their connections with racing. The Ramsdens have owned several horses in recent seasons with a variety of trainers including Alan Swinbank, Simon Callaghan and Ed Vaughan, often under the S P Racing Investments banner.

Many will be watching how matters develop in their link with the canny Michael Wigham, with whom they have three-year-old In Toto. The Ramsdens' son-in-law Jamie Spencer steered the Wigham-trained Ainama to land a gamble at Chester three weeks ago."
