After writing in my email "The Ascot card looks a total nightmare today with a huge field 5 furlong handicap sprint where anything could win and two small field maidens, yuck" I was more than happy to stop betting and proofing for the day with a tasty 9/2 winner in the first.
Plus there was indeed a shock in the big sprint with Toms Laughter winning at 50-1
