The winner is a totesport.com customer from Suffolk who placed 64 bets at a total of £128.
He not only collects the £669,465.30 which was in the win pool but also gets a chance to boost his winnings to around £3.5million next weekend, when the bonus race looks likely to be the totesport Eider Chase at Newcastle.
There were only two tickets left in after leg 5, with the eventual winner relying on Tarateeno who landed the Bathwick Tyres Dorchester Handicap Hurdle at Wincanton in good style.
"You have to take your hat off to our internet customer from Suffolk who managed not only to land Saturday's Scoop6 with only 64 lines but who now gives himself the chance of winning the record-breaking bonus fund next weekend," said totepool spokesman George Primarolo.
"He'll have a few sleepless nights between now and next weekend!"

Wednesday inspections
Kempton PROBLEMATIC frozen snow has forced Kempton officials to schedule a 10am inspection ahead of their Wednesday evening meeting.
Some snow has frozen into lumps and needs further work to break it down and whether there is enough time to make the course safe will be decided at 10am.
Carlisle
Officials at Carlisle are keeping their fingers crossed for today's card, which features four rides for Tony McCoy as he chases 3,000 career winners.
Clerk of the course Andrew Tulloch said: 'We are raceable, but we have a minus three forecast - temperatures are supposed to drop pretty sharply.
'If the forecast is accurate, we'd be touch and go.' Ludlow has already been abandoned because of snow.
So everything crossed for Lingfield surviving
Wednesday inspections
Kempton PROBLEMATIC frozen snow has forced Kempton officials to schedule a 10am inspection ahead of their Wednesday evening meeting.
Some snow has frozen into lumps and needs further work to break it down and whether there is enough time to make the course safe will be decided at 10am.

Wolverhampton abandonment anger
Home: "MICK CHANNON voiced his outrage on Monday over the way Wolverhampton handled its abandonment after his intended runner Forty Thirty made a 214-mile round trip for nothing.
Forty Thirty, who was due to run in the 2.50, arrived at the course after travelling from the trainer's West Ilsley base only moments before officials finally called the meeting off.
Many trainers had also set out for Wolverhampton ascourse officials gave the meeting the go ahead despite persistent snow, and Channon blasted the racecourse for raising false hopes.
He said: 'It's been handled disgracefully by both the racecourse and the BHA. Who do they think are paying for the wasted transport costs in the midst of this recession? They should have more respect for the owners that have to foot the bills.'
Channon added: 'They had two inspections and could have called it off this morning. They should have let common sense prevail. We got all the way up there and I feel someone should have made a decision earlier. It happens on a regular basis.'"
It was indeed truly farcical and blatently obvious to anyone with half a brain that given the driving conditions across the country and the fact that over half the runners would have had to travel over a hundred miles that the risk to stable staff and the horses was huge so if a third of the declared runners had truned up I would have been very surprised.
Southwell today goes ahead at the time of writing, lets see how many non-runners there will be!

Syndicate bag bumper Scoop6 pot
The Press Association: Syndicate bag bumper Scoop6 pot: "One ticket landed this week's totescoop6, paying £1,541,739 - the highest single win dividend in the history of the bet.
The winners were a syndicate from East Sussex who placed £18,900 worth of bets to scoop the pot.
They now go forward for a chance to win a record-breaking £2,469,009 on the bonus race next Saturday, which is almost certain to be the totesport Trophy at Newbury.
There were three tickets left in after the fifth leg, with the eventual winners relying on the unnamed favourite, which turned out to be Can't Buy Time, who romped home in the totesport.com Masters Handicap Chase at Sandown at 4-1.
A total of £1,810,396 was placed on the Scoop6, making it the third highest amount ever bet into the pool.
'Not only have the winners of the Scoop6 landed the biggest dividend in the history of the bet, but they now have a chance to pocket a cool £2.5million on the bonus race next weekend,' said totepool spokesman George Primarolo.
'The next seven days are going to be nerve-wracking for those involved.'"
