Veteran trainer Mick Easterby to retire | Horse Racing News | Racing Post
VETERAN trainer Mick Easterby revealed on Saturday that he plans to retire at the end of the season, leaving his son David to take over the reins at his Yorkshire base.
After watching his Ancient Cross land the William Hill Silver Cup at Ayr, the 82-year-old said: "I think David will take over next year, he's keen so why not?"
A trainer I like to follow, will be watching how his son gets on but the Easterby's have long provided me with amny many winners, best of luck to them all.
