Tudor Key makes all-weather bow at Lingfield (From The Northern Echo):
"Sir Mark Prescott traditionally starts rolling into form as the summer progresses and his Casual Garcia catches the eye in the Weatherby's Bloodstock Insurance Handicap. On brief inspection of his first run of the season, the portents are not great as he finished tailed off behind the useful Judgethemoment in a handicap at Ascot in May.
But his debuts as a two- and three-year-old were similarly abject, and last term he ended up rattling off three wins. The two-mile distance appears to be no stumbling block and, as many hardened punters will know, horses must be forgiven the occasional bad run. The market closer to the time will provide the greatest insight into Casual Garcia’s claims, but the fact the baronet is persevering with him suggests there is more to come."
