Bit up and down this week, started well with winning tips Monday and Tuesday but blank Wed & Thurs except for my private & email racing selections...Thank heavens for Schuh Shines win yesterday to cover the loss on the other woeful nags, the last one of the day just about summed it up when at the off he ran sideways into the rails instead of ahead up the course. Lets hope for better today

Thursday I wrote: shame Catterick has been abandoned but the weather here is really foul - I am only 15 minutes away - looks like a few weekend meetings may go the same way.

Both each way selections are best odds with Betfred today, as is one of my favourite horses Shuh Shine at Hereford, too short to be an official bet but I will be backing it.

At first look at ratings for today I penciled in New York Oscar as my nap but the price is just silly and with two non runners I cannot see it drifting so no bet in that race for me although many businesses would love that sort of return.
