For todays combination exacta selections I have worked around my second each way tip - Gavarnie Beau 4.50 Leicester - this selection won just four days ago and at 7/1 represents great each way value. For the other two horses I have put in the favourite, Sunderland Echo, which is also top Massey and Catweasles second dutch bet selection, Peter Island.
To put this on as a tote combination exacta costs 6 times your unit stake, this means that you have 6 possible winning combinations for first and second - that is if any of the three selections are 1st and 2nd you win.
As this is a handicap with more than the minimun 8 runners you could also put the 3 in a combination tricast or tote trifecta if the latter is available on this race.

Gambling Housewife Combination Exacta Explained
In the true nature of a Gambling Housewife my very favourite type of bet is the combination exacta: as it offers potentially huge returns for small stakes - forget that blokey macho attitude that reckons big straight bets show you are a real man is complete cojones to me and probably spread by the bookies themselves to lift their profits. The bigger your stake the more you stand to lose and the more profit goes into the bookies pockets, give me big wins for small stakes anytime!
My daily combination exacta selections consist of 3 horses one of which is usually one of my each way tips for example yesterday my long shot, Partners In Jazz won at 9/1 for a tidy profit but if I had manged to pick the 2nd as well the tote Exacta paid £268.00 to a £1 unit stake - £67 more than the CSF (computer straight forecast) £202.21.
This difference in payout is due to the exacta being a tote pool bet where winning tickets share the prize pool for that particular bet and race while the CSF is calculated on SP (starting prices). The tote slips can be a bit of a pain to do at your local bookies as you have to be carefull filling them in and also check that they have registered correctly - my bookies machine often misses one or more selctions...but the difference in payout makes it more than worthwhile - in the example combination exacta result above you get over £67 more for a few extra seconds filling in the tote exacta slip.
If you bet online then putting on a combination exacta is a doddle, I am aware that the combination exacta bet is avaible on the Tote and Blue Square sites but with a minimum total bet stake of £2 but if you want to use very a small unit stake to start with then that is available on Betfred only - find the link to Betfred for the combination exacta here if you want to try out the exacta with just 5 or 10p unit stakes.

Problem is I seem to be back in limbo land - not the dance - the inertia of depression despite the beautiful spring and a holiday a few weeks away...what can I say...

Poker Sites Stickiest Around
Although 92% in a survey said they were unlikely toplay poker online other stats seem to prove they were bluffing. Poker was the 4th most searched term in Jan after Paris Hilton, Pamela Anderson and Brittany Spears.
Poker Wins Hands Down: "According to the latest figures from Nielsen//NetRatings, which tracked the ten 'stickiest' Web sites for February 2006, PokerStars.com was over three times as sticky as the next closest site....It seems that, while online poker players are reluctant to raise their hands and admit they play, once they are dealt an online hand they are reluctant to fold it."
Pokerstars.com was the stickiest site in Feb with "the average time per person on the site was over 18 hours. This is the average, heavy users were on the site even longer." I should co-co, 18 hours is only about half an hour a day, nowhere near enough!

Nice touch with my exacta yesterday, only put two horses for the reverse 1st 2nd, my fancy to win let me down but the return covered that loss.. Gambling Housewife: "Gambling Housewife combination exacta: Fast Freddie, Hephaestus 2.20 Lingfield"
